Q: Why shop at Poppy Lane Cottage?
A: Buying from our shop means you’re supporting a small dream, not a big corporation. You are breathing new life into pre-loved pieces, keeping them out of landfills and giving them a chance to be cherished again. Choosing secondhand or small-batch goods helps reduce waste, protect natural resources, and celebrate craftsmanship over convenience—making every purchase feel a little more meaningful.
Q: Where do you get your products?
A: We source our products from a variety of places, including thrift stores, garage sales, online marketplaces, etc. Our sourcing strategy allows us to offer a unique and diverse selection of items.
Q: What does "pre-owned" or "used" condition mean?
A: Pre-owned or used items are not new and may show signs of wear. We do our best to photograph and describe any flaws, but minor imperfections may be present. We encourage you to review all images and descriptions carefully before purchasing.
Q: What is are your shipping rates?
A: We charge a standard shipping rate of $10 then an additional $2 per additional item.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We accept returns within 14 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging.
Q: Who pays for return shipping?
A: Customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs. In cases where a return is necessary due to an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping.
Q: How long will it take to get my refund?
A: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed within 3-6 business days. The time frame in which the amount is returned to your payment method will vary depending on Sqaurespace’s processes.
Q: What if my item is damaged during shipping?
A: We take great care in packaging all orders, but issues can sometimes occur during transit. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the item and its packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: No. We currently only offer shipping within the USA.
Q: What if I have a problem with my order?

Q: Can I cancel or change an order after it has been placed?
A: If you need to cancel or change an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed for shipping.
